An addition to an existing house at Hasle in Oslo containing a ceramics workshop, and a new living room in direct contact with a new outdoor terrace space. From the new space time can be spent between the trees, enjoying the evening sun.  

The aluminium cladding was chosen to avoid future maintenance, but also to contrast with the existing building. A warm red colour makes it stand out from other buildings in the area, yet the shape is directly linked to that of the existing house.
